PACKAGE 3: DEVELOP
LIFE SKILLS
Resources for your players off the field so they can be successful on the field.
Mission 6 Zero will help further develop your vision for an environment in which players actively seek to build upon each other’s talents, consistently pull each other toward a common goal and understand better how and when to motivate each other. Mission 6 Zero provides these invaluable lessons through our Life Skills Development package.
How does it work?
Mission 6 Zero will bring at least two instructors out to a Life Skills event – one a highly decorated, experienced US Special Forces veteran (Green Beret, Delta Force, Navy SEAL, FBI, and CIA) and the other a human performance PhD, expert, or researcher. What differentiates Mission 6 Zero is the QUALITY of our people. Our instructors are injured combat veterans, Medal of Honor winners, Ivy League graduates, as well as former collegiate and professional athletes. Our valuable training was forged at West Point and Annapolis, where our training and topics were taught to the exact population, age, and demographics of an NFL roster.
For the players and coaching staff, this background promotes INSTANT CREDIBILITY. Our instructors expose their hearts and share how their specific experiences were applied in leading and developing teams to conduct politically sensitive operations in which the lives of our instructors and America’s national interests were on the line. Now that we have the players’ attention, we sustain interest by making our message applicable to their professional and personal lives. We focus on reinforcing our message by providing the players evidence based best practices learned from the most elite human performance researchers and experts. We merge combat experience with science!
Mission 6 Zero Life Skills Development classes run 60-75 minutes. Our instructors are available to present at your organization’s location, to any audience, at any time desired. We also ask that the your organization pay for individual travel and lodging for our Life Skills Development event. The price for our Life Skills development class depends on a number of factors; notably, what topic you want addressed and time on target.
We distinguish our classes from our competition by making our classes ACTIONABLE. In other words, our audience is not expected to simply sit and listen. We challenge the players and require them to perform in front of their peers. We are able to accomplish this while, at the same time, not requiring the group to move which requires unnecessary herding and wasted time. We use video footage of the players themselves in previous engagements to drive home our message. The players are experienced with watching and critiquing video footage of themselves and their peers. These videos always promote laughter and fun – all while driving home a powerful message and helping players to learn and grow both professionally and personally!
Finally, Mission 6 Zero instructors drive home the SO WHAT and the NOW WHAT. Our message transcends “just being a good story” or motivating players for a few days. We provide the players a powerful message which will inspire them to ACT for themselves.
Mission 6 Zero adopts a radical twist on typical motivational techniques and stresses the importance of a continual customer development relationship. Most coaches in the professional athletics domain agree that there is only one way for outsiders to have a lasting impact on the players: They have to become insiders.

“Some places bring in speakers who are really good, but those speakers are gone,” Florida coach Jim McElwain said. “Having somebody there consistently in your program on a day-to-day basis is as important as your offensive and defensive coordinators.” “Our guys were trained for negative situations.' “If you asked the one thing that has powered this team’s resilience, they’d say it’s a brotherhood of trust, and we play for each other. They were taught that. That didn’t happen by accident.”
Can the Head coach motivate in a way that lasts for 60 minutes?
Last weekend, the media focused on a bench that looked disengaged even though the team was only down by two touchdowns in mid-game.
At every level of football, coaches are accountable for effort and execution, regardless of talent. You demand it and get it or soon you’re gone.
"A MIND THAT IS STRETCHED BY A NEW EXPERIENCE CAN NEVER GO BACK TO ITS OLD DIMENSIONS."

Mission 6 Zero Life Skills classes are interactive, tailored to the clients needs, and designed for a significant return on investment.
