GET TO KNOW THE CORE MEN & WOMEN BEHIND THE MISSION

Kyle Daniels

Kyle joined the US Army in 2003 and completed basic infantry training shortly thereafter. He earned the coveted Green Beret in February, 2006 and was assigned to 10th Special Forces Group, Fort Carson, Colorado.

Immediately upon his arrival to the unit, he was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).

The following year he served another tour of duty in Iraq where he augmented the surge efforts of OIF. In 2008, he served a tour of duty as a team member in the EUCOM Commander's In-extremis Force (CIF). After separating from the military in 2010, Kyle enrolled at the University of Georgia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May, 2015. In addition to pursuing a degree, Kyle was actively working towards another goal during his tenure at UGA: become a professional golfer. He is currently striving to make it to the PGA Tour in an effort to have a large platform to advocate veteran issues. Kyle also hopes to be a role model for veterans who are struggling with their transition from military to civilian life, and show them that there is always another mission they can accomplish.
